Getting started¶
This page walks through your first session: setting up a workspace, the four onboarding steps, and what to do in your first half hour.
Your workspace¶
Everything in Questo belongs to a workspace, one per company. The first person to sign up creates it, and teammates join with an invite link or an email invite. See Members and invites.
If someone invited you, open their link and you land in the workspace they already set up, with no onboarding to repeat.
Onboarding¶
Onboarding has four steps.
- Workspace. Your company's name and website.
- Materials. Connect the places your company's knowledge already lives: Notion, Google Drive, Slack, Gmail, Linear and more. If only a few documents matter, pick those pages or files instead of connecting everything. The more the agent can read here, the better the next step goes.
- Tenets. The agent reads your materials and drafts all eight tenets at once, asking you a few questions along the way. It also writes a battlecard for each competitor and a profile for each persona it finds. Read each draft, fix what is not how you would say it, then Approve all tenets.
- Mission. Get mission suggestions proposes missions that fit what the agent just learned. Pick one or describe your own, shape its playbook with the agent, and Finish onboarding.
Your first thirty minutes¶
- Read all eight tenets, starting with product, positioning and targeting. Fix anything that is not how you would say it.
- Add two or three files you would hand a new hire on day one, and mark them as knowledge.
- Add the URLs you check weekly: your site, your pricing page, two competitors.
- Check your first mission. Give it a target date if it is a campaign that ends, and leave it open if it is always on.
- Give the agent one small task inside that mission and watch it work in chat.
- Open the inbox and resolve whatever is waiting.
- Correct one thing the agent got wrong, then write that correction into a rule or a tenet.
What happens next on its own¶
From the next weekday, the routines start turning. In the afternoon Questo reads your connected tools for signal and may ask you a few questions. The next morning each active mission gets a diagnosis and a proposed plan for the day in your inbox. Approve what is worth doing, or let the plan approve itself after six hours.
Check Settings > Organization has your time zone right: the routines run on it.
If the first task comes back generic¶
That is a context problem rather than a model problem. The agent writes from what your knowledge base says, so a vague tenet produces vague work. Sharpen the tenets, add the files a new hire would read, and try again.
